OK, I installed Intellipoint 3.2 software on a Win98SE system. Ever since then, fast movement of the mouse (even in a straight line) causes the pointer to behave like its drunk. The problem is REALLY bad if you uninstall Intellipoint and go back to the default system drivers (try it and see).

Intellipoint software fails during install complaining that it can't access files in a directory under c:\Windows\TEMP. I have tried an install from the product CD and from an install downloaded from Microsofts site but it fails approx. 90% through. All drives being accessed have plenty of room.
